“Go around the mad world by mad cycle!”
I post it in english because I hope the man that I telling about, read and understand how proud me of him! :glasses: But before, I’m sorry about my English. I am still beginner…
This afternoon in all of darkness of my heart, I try to forget my bad felling by run out from reality and sink in to illusion world of cyber. Then, I asked to Mr.Google about BANGKINANG BLOGGER. It gave me the result about 3,650 articles for bangkinang blogger. (0.28 seconds). I take my mouse and over one by one the result. And I was surprise when I saw an English Blog which tell about Pekanbaru and Bukittinggi. Guess what ?? An Oxford Blogger is the admin !!!
He wrote about his great journey to Australia, overland as much as possible, setting off from Oxford in May 2007. What a great experience! He passed England, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, U.A.E., Oman,India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, (North) Laos, Cambodia,Thailand, (South)Malaysia, and Singapore right know he is being in Indonesia and going to East Timor, Australia.
This journal about passed the world, feel every land, touch every reins, innocent passage, culture and habitual passage, nature lover and everything that he felt. All greatness of god is packaging in simple and light words but full of message in every sentences. My favorite One :
The brief description I gave the Indonesian people in the previous post was wrong. I wrote that the night I arrived from Singapore, I didn’t really want to be there, so I made my judgement way too early, I was wrong. The people here are lovely, all too willing to smile, wave or call out “Hello Mister”, or “Hello my friend”. When I stop they are always interested in me, happy for a chat, wanting to know where I am from, where I am going, though with my map most of the time I haven’t got a clue.
I don’t know why this mad man do this crazy tour! But I know he loved peace and nature so much. I am fans of him. Loved him so much. Right now, hard to find someone like him. Leave all richness, joyful life and go back to mother nature. He is the mad man who passed this mad world by mad cycle.
John Harwood, you are great!!! I really proud of you…
I hope one day I can meet you and chat as like as old friend.
I’ll follow your struggle in this chaos era, but not by cycling as like as you did. May be in another way…
